Exciting news! The National Sex Ed Conference, the largest conference in the United States exclusively for sexuality educators is now accepting proposals for its 2027 conference. This year’s conference is happening February 2027 in Washington DC.

Hosted by The Center for Sex Education, this conference is the perfect opportunity to share your knowledge and engage with professionals in the field.

What do I need to submit a proposal?

To submit your proposal, you’ll need to provide a biographical and contact information for each presenter, including resume/CV, photo, and short bio. You’ll also need to include a presentation title and description, and answer a number of audience- and content-related questions. In addition, you’ll need to describe how your session will be accessible and inclusive for all participants, and how it aligns with the core content categories identified by AASECT and CHES®.

What’s the deadline?

All proposals must be received by July 17, 2026.

What happens after I submit my proposal?

After you submit your proposal, it will go through a peer review process. The authors of the best proposals will receive an invitation to present February 2027 in Washington DC.

  • Accepted 1.5-hour workshops will receive 1 complimentary conference registration, $100 off registration for 1 co-presenter, and a $300 stipend.
  • Accepted 1-hour workshops will receive 1 complimentary registration, $100 off registration for 1 co-presenter, and a $200 stipend.
  • Accepted 1-hour lunchtime-facilitated discussions will receive $100 off registration fees for up to 2 presenters.
