For nearly 35 years, Answer’s mission has been to provide and promote unfettered access to comprehensive sexuality education for young people and the adults who teach them. We deliver honest, accurate information to teens via Sex, Etc. magazine and Sexetc.org, and we train adults, both in-person and online, to better serve the young people in their lives. At the core of our work is a deep respect for young people’s capacity to make healthy and informed decisions when adults provide the medically accurate information and support young people need and deserve.

Through Sex, Etc., Answer has harnessed the power of peer education to provide young people with honest, teen-written sexuality information since 1994. The original Sex, Etc.newsletter was transformed into a dynamic, full-color magazine in 2006. We added online resources in 1999 with the launch of Sexetc.org. Sex, Etc. is now in its 21st year and continues to grow as technology evolves. Answer is widely regarded as a forerunner in using technology to reach and engage youth audiences. To date, Sexetc.org receives nearly two million unique visitors per year in the U.S. alone, and Sex, Etc. social media pages have over 250,000 fans and followers through Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Google + and Instagram.
