While utilizing laughter and audience participation, Dr. Hall also incorporates research-based instructional strategies so that participants leave empowered with information they need to lead healthier, happier lives.

Joycelyn Elders, 15th Surgeon General of the United States. Dr. Elders will assess the state of sex ed in the U.S., examining strategies that we can employ to make America healthier and the creative role of health educators in accomplishing this change to improve sexual health and sexuality education.
      • 4:30 pm - 4:45 pm2012 National Sex Ed Impact Awardee - Dr. Joycelyn EldersThe Sex Ed Impact Award is given to an individual, organization, and/or media that has positively impacted the field of sexuality education. This year we honor the work of Dr. Joycelyn Elders.
      • 6:45 pm - 7:45 pm What’s Your BiQ?In this special plenary, Terri Clark, MPH, CHES, discusses bisexual identity, challenges unique to bisexual individuals, and the discrimination faced by this community with the goal of helping sexuality educators increase their "BiQ."
