Lorena Olvera, MEd is a Mexican sexuality educator who came to the United States with a Fulbright scholarship. Lorena’s main research area is Applied Theatre for human sexuality education. She is currently writing her dissertation on Theatre of the Oppressed and LGBTQ participants. She has presented workshops at national and international conferences and last year was the co-chair of this conference. She has worked as a host on educational radio and television shows about sexuality in Mexico and Philadelphia, where she currently hosts “EduSexPhila” in Philatinos Radio. She holds a Spanish-language educational Facebook page, Sexprésate, with more than 150,000 followers, where she writes about sexuality, gender equality, and relationships.
