Because the health and safety of conference participants is a top priority for The Center for Sex Education, we have been closely monitoring the pandemic and recommendations by health officials. Like everyone, we are extremely concerned by the continued spike in COVID infections and hospitalizations in a number of states across the country.

Due to the ongoing concerns around the pandemic and current travel advisories, we are canceling the December 2020 conference while we evaluate our options for moving forward. We are working to address these concerns while also maintaining the high standards of programs by The Center for Sex Education.

We, of course, continue to monitor recommendations by health officials and are mindful of risks associated with in-person, large group meetings. We care about the health and safety of participants and staff, as well as the quality of the conference and will proceed accordingly. So much of the National Sex Ed Conference experience and learnings result from personal interactions. We are in the process of exploring strategies to approximate that experience in a virtual environment in 2021. We still have more work to do and will keep you updated.

We will post updates as soon as we have better insight to next steps. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

We are thankful for the hard work of our planning team and strategic partners. We appreciate and value your support and look forward to connecting with you soon!
