Women’s Anatomy of Arousal – Secret Maps to Buried Pleasure
by: Sheri Winston, CNM, RN, BSN, LMT
Discover just how much you’ve been missing! Women have as much erogenous erectile tissue as men do. There’s more to the clitoris then meets the eye, and more to women’s arousal then the clitoris. Women have an elegant, integral and multi-purpose female sexual/reproductive system! Learn the whole truth about what’s there, why, how it connects and how to make it very happy! This class for men & women offers essential, empowering information, unique new anatomical diagrams and many other delightful images. Draws from and expands upon on the award-winning acclaimed book, Women’s Anatomy of Arousal – Secret Maps to Buried Pleasure.
Learning Objectives

- 2. Describe the basic structure of erectile tissue and the structures that comprise it.
- 3. Describe the normal movements of the uterus during arousal and orgasm.
- 4. Describe the 3 major sexual nerve pathways.
Trans-Inclusive Sex Ed: Basics and Beyond
by: Eli R. Green, MA, MEd
“I’m all for transgender inclusive sexuality education. I’m just not sure how” This pre-con is a safe and supportive learning space for sexuality educators who are interested in expanding their knowledge of transgender identities. Using a train-the-trainer approach, this pre-con provides educators with concrete strategies for creating inclusive learning environments, incorporating affirmative messages into comprehensive sexuality education, and expanding skills for teaching transgender-related content in a way that is affirming of diverse gender identities. Participants will practice inclusive language, answering challenging questions, and presenting basic information in a way that role models respect. This session is designed to increase participants’ confidence in facilitating trans-inclusive sexuality education, in the professional work. A basic understanding or working knowledge of transgender identity is recommended.
- Participants will be able to name two reasons why it is important to be trans-inclusive in sexuality education, and two challenges to implementing trans-inclusive teaching methods.
- Participants will be able to identify one pre-existing skill or strength that can be used for being trans-inclusive, and two strategies that they can use to be more trans-inclusive in their own work.
- Participants will be able to identify three strategies that they can use when teaching transgender-related content.
“You’re Out, Baseball!” A Healthier, More Equitable, Satisfying and Safer Model for Sexual Activity
by: Al Vernacchio, MEd
This workshop examines conceptual models in general and models for sexual activity in particular. Baseball, the common metaphor for sexual activity in the United States brings a host of unhealthy outcomes with it. An alternate conceptual model will be offered that can replace the baseball model and offer greater potential for healthy, fulfilling, pleasurable sexual activity. Once the new model for sexual activity has been established, exercises and activities designed to teach healthy, deliberate, pleasurable sexual activity will be offered.
Objectives:
At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
- Identify the differences between the baseball model and pizza models when considering: the reasons for, behavior during, and goal of sexual activity.
- Identify factors that may lead someone to choose the baseball model or pizza model as their personal model for sexual activity.
- Generate two concrete steps to help move from the baseball model to the pizza model if they so choose.
- Explore alternative ways to teach the concept of healthy, deliberate, pleasurable sexual activity to students
